Security Analyst

GDH is currently seeking a Security Analyst for our direct customer in San Antonio, TX.  This position is a 6 month contract, with intention to convert to a direct employee at the end of the contract duration.  All qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research and review various defense system software and recommend best practices and implementation.
  • Review and analyze system anomalies, security alerts, and network activity for potential threats.
  • Support the deployment and implementation of cyber/IT policies and procedures.
  • Develop standardized business centric reporting of cyber security metrics, risks, and trends.

 Job Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and quickly apply new concepts to accomplish assignments.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Security+ and CEH certifications strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of common information/cyber security technologies.
