GDH is seeking a Technical Engineer in Cary, NC. 

Please find a brief overview of the role below:

  • Very technical and high level knowledge of x.86
  • Working hands on with White boxes
  • Strong knowledge of Universal CPE
  • Resource will be test/certify code
  • Must know pci slot, what goes in it, wifi, motherboard.
  • Will need knowledge of basic setup of different ports. Resource will be connecting and troubleshooting these ports in the network. 
  • Functional experience with hypervisors
  • They will be working with functions inside the cable box
  • Strong knowledge of how LTE works, software functions, and how these are used with the UCPE box
  • Security, routing and switching is desired. 
  • Must know the UCPE, different vendors, know who is a good provider compared to others

Technical Engineer X86 to design, support, architecture, troubleshoot and maintain the IT Infrastructure of internal and external customer environments. This includes network connectivity and utilization, Windows server administration, Universal CPE administration, enterprise storage management, virtualization, performance tuning, backup and restore with a specialization Virtualization Platform. The Engineer will be responsible for the technical design, implementation, instrumentation, documentation, and support of the Enterprise On Premise platform. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and the desire to help in the development and mentoring of others.
